What you can do, or dream you can, begin it.
Goethe
You are never too old to set another goal or to dream a new dream. Les Brown
Welcome to 2026! Starting a new year excites and motivates me. We have 365 days before us to fill up, cram with adventure, and fulfill a dream. It reminds me of opening a beautiful new journal, with pen in hand. Blank pages of possibility. Maybe I'll get it right this time.
Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? (Isaiah 43:18-19)
No matter what season you're in today, whether one of loss or gain, grieving or healing, waiting or moving boldly ahead, don't ever stop dreaming. Dreaming is a Spirit-filled act of your trust in God. Welcome the hope and the possibility that each new day brings.
New Year Resolutions
How do you feel about New Year Resolutions? I'm a fan, but I’ve learned that when I view them as goals, they become achievable.
When I was in my late 30s and setting New Year Resolutions, I had an epiphany: not one resolution had anything to do with my spiritual growth. This conviction by the Spirit led me to write yearly spiritual goals in a formal process involving specifics, timelines, and actions (the what, when, and how's).
Creating Spiritual Goals

Some of my writer friends pulled together a packet of freebies to help encourage and motivate you in your faith walk in 2026. My gift is a research-based PDF designed to show you how to set goals and turn them into habits.
Click below to view the entire packet, and choose the ones you'd like to receive. Gifts are available until January 9
